The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and adult social care in England. A nationwide body, it was set up to ensure that all hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care to an agreed national standard.
We were visited by CQC in August and fully passed their inspection. A report of the inspection findings is available to read on their website – (go to the For the Public tab)
Intelligence Monitoring Report
The Care Quality Commission has published information (known as Intelligence Monitoring Reports) on over 7,200 GP surgeries in England. The surgeries are ranked within six bands with Band 6 being the highest achievable band? We are delighted to report that Carlton House Surgery is a Band 6 practice.
