If you feel that you may have cystitis or another urinary tract infection, ask the receptionist for a sample pot when you make your appointment and bring a urine sample with you. Alternatively ask for one when you book in for your appointment and use the patient toilet to take a sample whilst waiting to see the doctor or nurse.
If your doctor usually takes your blood pressure, use one of our D.I.Y blood pressure machines, while you are waiting and take the printed slip in with you. If you regularly need your BP checked then you may come and use the machine at any time and give the results to a staff member, who will pass them to your GP. You can do this at a time that suits you and you don’t have to make an appointment to ensure that we have your up to date readings.
